With increasingly unstable climate, comes a need for reconsidering sedentary way of living. A network of acorn granaries, can also contribute to sustaining a mobile life styles and promotes outdoors living. The acorn granary network is based on a gift economy and calls for inter-species solidarity. By increasing exchanges based on non monetary transaction and sharing of food resources it is thriving towards higher resilience and self-sufficiency

The network is open and based on the participation and collaboration of autonomous agents in creating a community owned and built infrastructure. Anyone is free to build their own granary - based on the design principles - and register it on the network to make it visible to others.
